Accreditations and Memberships

Council of International Schools

In June 2011, SISB received its highest honour yet: accreditation by the Council of International Schools.

International Schools Association of Thailand

International Schools Association of Thailand acts as the unified voice for international education in Thailand and as a centre for collective action on behalf of its membership. SISB has been a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand since 2001.

Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment

In 2010, SISB was fully accredited by the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment under the Private Education Act of Thailand.

East Asia Regional Council of Schools

The East Asia Regional Council of Schools is an organisation of 156 member schools in East Asia with a combined total of more than 100,000 pre-K to 12th grade students. SISB was granted full membership in EARCOS in October 2016.

Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board

SISB is the first international school in Thailand which was formally appointed by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board in 2006 as the official examination centre for the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE).

Cambridge International Examinations

SISB is an approved centre certified by Cambridge International Examinations to conduct the IGCSE, AS and A Levels examinations.

International Baccalaureate

In October 2019, SISB Pracha Uthit was officially authorised as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Diploma Programme.

MARITIME SILK ROAD CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE

SISB is certified by the Maritime Silk Road Confucius Institute (海上丝路孔子学院) as a test centre to conduct Chinese proficiency tests (HSK and YCT) for students.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

SISB holds the Basic Independent Award Centre Licence to conduct The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, which is the world's leading achievement award for young people. The Award allows young people to design their own programme, set their own goals, and record their own progress. Common Sense School

SISB Pracha Uthit and SISB Chiangmai have been recognised as Common Sense Schools by Common Sense, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of media and technology. The recognition acknowledges SISB’s commitment to creating a culture of digital citizenship, an issue ever more important in this age of online learning.
